Designed for people who are interested in being able to care for their pets (dogs and cats) in an emergency situation. The course covers Disaster Preparation, Pet First Aid & CPR and includes “hands on” practice with Pet Manikins. |

Prepare participants to provide service to the masses in the field. An overview of feeding, food preparation, sheltering, and bulk distribution of items needed to recover from a disaster. |

Damage Assessment |
Participants are taught how to conduct Red Cross disaster damage assessment following a major disaster. Because Red Cross damage assessment information is cited by other disaster relief agencies and by local and federal government, participants learn how the information is used and the importance of reliable data. |
